Job Summary

Work with the tendering team to understand project scope and cost details, monitor and control final project cost and cost variance from engineering changes, and track margins against targets. Coordinate with engineering and cross-functional teams to maintain project documents and design change information. Supervise production processes and schedules to meet customer shipping and receipt targets, prepare bills of material for approval, and handle customer requests and complaints with corrective actions.

Key Responsibilities

•Work closely with the tendering team to interpret order requirements and coordinate assignments across engineering and support staff during planning meetings.
•Review customer purchase order amendments/additions, revise assembly/parts lists drawings and bills of materials based on detail drawing changes, and support customer assistance/complaints with corrective actions.
•Prepare preliminary and revised bills of material and submittals for customer approval, and monitor project equipment progress through design and build.
•Perform product cost comparisons, select materials and commercial parts, monitor project costs and margin deviations, and advise management when deviations occur.
•Oversee production processes and schedules, maintain project documents and design change information, and keep management informed of shipping project issues in line with target receipt data.

Key Requirements

•College or above degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics engineering, or engineering-to-order product fields.
•Traceable and successful project management experience in an industrial branch is preferred.
•Knowledge of complex mechanical products; solid mechanical knowledge and electrical knowledge are a plus.
•Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from PMI is preferred.
•Strong organizational skills with a problem-solving attitude and strong written/oral English communication.
