Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as the technical expert in field inspections and quality audits; act as the go-to expert internally and externally.
  • •Provide guiding direction for inspections on engagements and set direction and goals for inspection and/or the business line.
  • •Lead the audit strategy for your area of expertise and serve as a key point of contact for engagements and senior leadership.
  • •Oversee construction inspectors on assigned projects to ensure compliance with codes, rules, and regulations.
  • •Recommend or cause notices of violation, stop work orders, and temporary approval for occupancy when appropriate, and work directly with construction contractors.

Key Requirements

  • •HS plus ten years of experience (or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education).
  • •Valid U.S. Driver’s License required to visit project sites, clients, and AECOM offices; must pass a Motor Vehicle Records review.
  • •Experience providing overall guidance and supervision of subordinates.
  • •Experience working directly with construction contractors.
  • •Knowledge of MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).
