Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver a wide variety of river and flood related civil engineering schemes.
  • •Prepare and support business cases for works to protect from flooding.
  • •Develop outline and detailed designs for flood projects, including hydraulic systems, flood defences, drainage, and ancillary structures.
  • •Design hydraulic structures (e.g., culverts, weirs, walls, outfalls, scour protection) with wider infrastructure clients across highways, rail, and property.
  • •Prepare work schedules/specifications, carry out asset inspection works, and supervise construction works (supported where required).
