Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the three-year strategy for global trade systems architecture, data models, and logistics interfaces aligned to enterprise roadmaps and regulatory changes.
  • •Evaluate and recommend trade system integrations into Honeywell’s SAP ERP environment and enterprise data warehouse.
  • •Identify automation opportunities in specialized trade zones (including U.S. FTZs and global bonded warehouses).
  • •Lead automation programs and design governance/data structures to reduce manual intervention and prevent compliance errors.
  • •Partner across logistics operations, global trade, business operations, ERP deployment, and IT to design and continuously improve the ERP→TMS→GTM ecosystem.

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years of progressive experience in global trade and logistics operations within a manufacturing environment, with leadership bias toward make vs buy solutions.
  • •Strong export compliance expertise, including EAR, ITAR, customs processes, free trade agreements, and international logistics.
  • •Experience creating and running special trade structures such as IMMEX, U.S. Foreign Trade Zones (FTZs), or bonded areas/special customs supervision zones.
  • •Ability to translate business processes into software design, including data architecture, process automation, and digital governance/controls.
  • •Experience leading or influencing across large, global matrix organizations, with domestic and international travel up to 15%.
