Job Summary

Own and optimize the end-to-end optical assembly process for co-packaged optics (CPO) products at NVIDIA manufacturing partners. Collaborate with RnD, product engineering, and operations to ensure robust manufacturing, improve yield and efficiency for NPI lines, and maintain product quality through design/process and equipment stability enhancements. Provide onsite engineering support for process or equipment issues, ensuring smooth mass production and high availability.

Key Responsibilities

•Ensure end-to-end assembly process readiness for CPO products at NVIDIA manufacturing partners.
•Collaborate with RnD, PE, and Operations to support robust manufacturing capabilities, reliability, and smooth mass production.
•Monitor yield analysis and drive continuous improvement initiatives for NPI production lines to meet capacity and cost targets.
•Maintain product quality by improving design and manufacturing processes and ensuring equipment stability.
•Provide onsite engineering support with technical ownership for process or equipment issues.

Key Requirements

•BS/MS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Material Science, or related field.
•5+ years of experience in mass production, optical alignment process development, and data processing/analysis.
•Experience bringing up a new technology from R&D to high-volume manufacturing.
•Hands-on debug experience with strong problem-solving ability.
•Proficiency in SPC and 6 Sigma quality control processes, with understanding of machine and process interactions.
