Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform changeovers and complete changeover setup paperwork, arranging assistance as needed.
  • •Clean blenders and equipment for material changes and oversee pre-blend/resin blending mixing off-line and on-line.
  • •Complete and maintain production documentation (production sheet, labor log, scrap sheet, daily functional checks) and enter data into the MRP system.
  • •Set and test secondary equipment, monitor stack light alerts, adjust machines to maintain required quality, and strive to meet production rates with correct variance coding.
  • •Run quality checks, implement Berry incident protocol/first aid if trained, identify equipment shortfalls, and submit maintenance requests; close orders in the system when complete.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • •2–5 years of manufacturing experience with extrusion experience preferred.
  • •Ability to read and write required forms and verify quality production in English.
  • •Ability to work independently and handle problems while following safety, food safety, and environmental guidelines.
  • •Ability to work overtime/holidays/weekends/nights and perform physical job duties including lifting up to 50 pounds unassisted.
