Job Summary

Perform and report radiological procedures and scans in accordance with clinical ethics and CBAHI/JCIA standards. Review and diagnose examinations via PAC’s system, approve medical reports after transcription, and provide patient care throughout imaging. Conduct and report X-ray and fluoroscopic diagnostic procedures, consult with medical staff on diagnostic plans, supervise junior radiology staff, participate in on-call rotations, and support patient/family education and departmental training.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform and report radiological procedures and scans, ensuring systematic, informative, and conclusive reporting.
•Review, read, diagnose examinations via PAC’s system and approve medical reports promptly after transcription.
•Provide patient care during radiological procedures and participate in on-call duty rotations.
•Perform fluoroscopic vascular or other diagnostic procedures independently as per department protocols and provide consultation on diagnostic plans.
•Supervise junior staff, rotate through specialized units, and support patient/family education and departmental training activities.

Key Requirements

•Must have a University graduate medical degree with postgraduate qualification in Radiology (Master’s in Radiology preferred).
•Registered with the Saudi Medical Council and/or have a current license to practice medicine in Saudi Arabia.
•At least 4 years’ experience in Radiology after obtaining the higher qualification (subspecialty experience preferred).
•Proficiency in verbal and written English.
•Knowledge of medical by-laws and professional medical ethics standards.
