Job Summary

Manage and deliver project and programme controls for clients, focusing on budget and forecast cost reporting and overall project status. Work as part of an Integrated Programme Controls team, supporting PMO best practices on infrastructure projects through earned value monitoring, variance analysis, and progress/cost trending. Create and assist with cost and schedule baselines, review contractor invoices and commitments, support change/scope control, and prepare project reporting and cost review meeting inputs.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage and deliver project and programme controls, addressing actual budget and forecast costs to capture business and project status.
•Provide earned value monitoring, including performance measurement and cost trending, and analyse progress trends and cost impact.
•Evaluate manpower and labour hour/cost requirements versus budget limits, performing variance analysis and preparing revised cost forecasts for select accounts.
•Use drawings and specifications to help establish project baseline data, create and assist with cost/schedule baseline budgets, and support cost/schedule integration and critical path analysis.
•Prepare project reporting, participate in cost review meetings, and support scope control, change management, and tracking of change order status and action items.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree from a recognised and accredited university or a project controls/management qualification (APMG Planning and Controls, Prince2, RICS, APM, MICE, CIOB).
•Proven experience and strong working knowledge in cost control or planning & scheduling in a multi-discipline project environment.
•Experience implementing Earned Value Management-based project control systems in line with relevant national standards.
•Practical ability to use project management concepts including EVM, project planning, risk analysis, and configuration management.
•Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, or other planning software, and PowerBI.
