Key Responsibilities

  • •Be hands-on: lead and grow the Capacity Engineering team by hiring, onboarding, coaching, and running performance and leveling discussions.
  • •Set technical direction and raise the bar through design reviews, architecture input, production standards, and sustainable on-call practices with SLOs.
  • •Own the roadmap by translating compute strategy into prioritized plans across data platform, planning/assurance, and efficiency, including explicit trade-offs.
  • •Build and operate systems for data ingestion/telemetry normalization, capacity planning and alerting, and efficiency benchmarking to improve utilization.
  • •Drive reliability and operational excellence by owning incident response for load-bearing systems and continuously reducing operational toil.

Salary: USD 405,000 - 485,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Experience managing software or infrastructure engineering teams, including hiring senior engineers, managing performance, and developing people.
  • •Strong technical background in production systems such as data engineering, infrastructure, distributed systems, or observability, with hands-on experience for design review and debugging.
  • •Familiarity with major cloud providers (AWS, GCP, or Azure), Kubernetes-based infrastructure, and modern observability stacks.
  • •Track record of setting and executing an engineering roadmap in a high-autonomy environment with shifting priorities and many stakeholders.
  • •Excellent communication skills, including explaining utilization and spend metrics to both technical and finance leadership stakeholders.
