Job Summary

Assist machine tenders at the Hartsville Converting Operations, working safely and efficiently to support winding/finishing tasks. Operate small, less complicated equipment, remove tubes from an overhead dryer chain conveyor, load tubes onto trucks with proper labeling, move scrap to carts, and perform tube inspection and packing. Work rotating 1st and 2nd shifts, with overtime possibly required. Report under the Winding and/or Finishing Shift Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities

•Safely and efficiently assist machine tenders with physical requirements of assigned operations.
•Operate small hand-type or less complicated equipment.
•Remove tubes from the overhead dryer chain conveyor.
•Load tubes on trucks and label them properly.
•Inspect and pack tubes, and place scrap on carts to be hauled away.
