•Author, sponsor, or steer multi-platform technical designs for content steering and delivery, performance analytics, and decisioning for deployment across product portfolio and infrastructure.
•Drive technical debates and alignment with management, architectural, design, and operational teams, as well as third-party vendors, to improve end-to-end delivery.
•Conduct in-depth reviews of existing and planned systems, challenging the status quo and managing change.
•Construct and lead RFP processes, delivering proof-of-concept design, execution, and measurement.
•Track industry trends and represent NBCU/GST at industry forums while leading by engineering example under pressure.

Travel: Medium travel

Salary: USD 180,000 - 230,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a relevant field is required.
•8+ years of engineering experience as an individual contributor.
•3+ years demonstrable experience in an engineering leadership role.
•Successful track record delivering and maintaining products/services for regional/global web audiences using streaming over content delivery networks (bonus).
•Knowledge of foundational internet technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, TLS, HTTP, DNS, BGP) and ability to communicate and present technical topics in English.
