Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist with leading and coordinating safety process efforts for commercial sales/service offices.
  • •Conduct inspections, risk assessments, and jobsite visits at customer sites, including service and contracting work.
  • •Ensure safety, occupational health, and environmental records are maintained and compliant with OSHA/DOT and other applicable regulations and Trane procedures.
  • •Implement safety policies and procedures, coordinate continuous improvement using safety data and Lean processes, and participate in A3 efforts.
  • •Utilize Gensuite to assign and monitor inspections, near-miss/action tracking items, and generate required reports, including supporting workers’ compensation administration and return-to-work program.

Key Requirements

  • •At least 3 years of practical safety experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • •Practical working knowledge of environment, health, and safety and/or field operations, including OSHA and related safety regulatory agencies.
  • •Proficiency in MS Office suite applications.
  • •Maintain a valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with no major/frequent traffic violations (e.g., DUI, hit-and-run).
  • •Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety, safety sciences, or a related field is highly recommended (not required).
