Key Responsibilities

  • •Support design, development, and delivery of firmware for AMD’s discrete and embedded products.

Key Requirements

  • •Currently enrolled in a Canada-based university in a Bachelor’s program in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • •Knowledge/experience with low level BIOS, firmware, or system software development.
  • •Low level programming language C/C++ and knowledge of hardware architectures.
  • •Experience with embedded systems, RTOS, and embedded controller structure.
  • •Experience using source control and debugging/tooling (e.g., Perforce, JIRA, Git; debuggers/compilers) in Linux development environments.
