Key Responsibilities

  • •Identify, prioritize, and execute on the highest-potential opportunities to make Computer transformative for teams at Perplexity.
  • •Engineer connectors, skills, and evaluation infrastructure that make knowledge stores and processes legible to Computer at scale.
  • •Close the loop between internal usage and the Computer product by translating friction and wins into platform improvements.
  • •Develop empathy for the nuances of technical and business teams’ work across recruiting, sales, finance, support, legal, and operations.
  • •Collaborate with PM, Design, Data Science, Sales, and enterprise customers to turn process needs into simple, reliable product experiences in Computer.

Salary: USD 220,000 - 405,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •4+ years of professional software engineering experience, with familiarity building platforms for enterprise or internal users.
  • •Daily use of AI models/tools and strong knowledge of the latest frontier.
  • •Proficiency with Python, with experience and/or TypeScript, Go, and other languages.
  • •Strong understanding of the work of non-technical staff across enterprises and curiosity about business and operations teams.
  • •Broad working knowledge of the modern AI agent stack (agents, connectors, context engineering, evals) and strong product judgement to simplify the agent user experience.
