Job Summary

Contribute to mechanical design and delivery for high-performing, sustainable building projects within the Property & Buildings team. Develop detailed models and drawings, prepare drawing packages, and design HVAC, plumbing, and fire-protection systems. Perform heating, ventilation, and cooling load calculations, support engineering calculations, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, vendors, architects, and engineers through construction-ready documentation.

Key Responsibilities

•Prepare mechanical design drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
•Support senior designers and engineers in developing complete drawing packages.
•Design HVAC, plumbing, and fire-protection systems for building projects.
•Perform heating, ventilation, and cooling load calculations and support engineering calculations.
•Coordinate with project teams, external vendors, architects, and engineers while supporting accurate documentation and technical delivery.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•Diploma or certificate in Mechanical Engineering Technology or a related field.
•3–5 years of experience in BIM modelling and mechanical system design.
•Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit.
•Experience designing building mechanical systems (healthcare experience is an asset).
•Understanding of applicable building codes and standards.
