Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct data analyses needed for global reporting related to HIV, hepatitis, and STIs.
  • •Prepare content for global reports (text, graphics, tables, and webpages) based on reporting requirements.
  • •Develop and manage data dashboards to disseminate key findings from analyses related to hepatitis and STIs.
  • •Produce customized analyses and datasets for other units, WHO departments, and external partners in response to requests.
  • •Review and validate annually collected HIV data with UNAIDS, and review and validate hepatitis and STIs data submitted by Member States.

Key Requirements

  • •Advanced university degree (Master’s level or above) in a health/health sciences field with substantial data-analysis content.
  • •At least seven years of experience collecting, validating, reviewing, analyzing, and reporting health-related data.
  • •At least two years developing web-based, data-driven reports using R, Shiny, R Markdown, and ggplot2.
  • •Demonstrated statistical analysis expertise using large datasets in R or Stata, and proven ability to produce data-driven documents, charts, tables, and webpages.
  • •Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to prepare high-quality presentations, and strong ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
