Provide advanced HVAC and plumbing preventive maintenance and repairs in a commercial building, monitoring systems under limited supervision. Utilize plumbing, electrical, heating and cooling skills, oversee internal staff and outside contractors, complete maintenance records, and respond to work orders while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Job Function: Solutions Engineering & Sales Engineering

Key Responsibilities

•Complying with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency and company directives related to building operations and work safety
•Inspecting building systems including fire extinguishers, HVAC and plumbing to ensure operation of equipment is within design capabilities and achieves environmental conditions prescribed by client
•Overseeing and inspecting the work performed by internal colleagues and outside contractors. (Contracted work includes landscaping, snow removal, remodeling, HVAC, plumbers and cleaning.)
•Performing assigned repairs, emergency and preventive maintenance while completing maintenance and repair records as required
•Reviewing assigned work orders and estimating time and materials needed to complete repair

•High school diploma/GED and a minimum of 4 years of related experience
•HVAC License for the State of Rhode Island
•Refrigeration License for the State of Rhode Island
