Lead the development and delivery of next-generation abuse and fraud prevention services within Ticketmaster’s Global Ticketmaster Abuse and Fraud Prevention engineering team. You’ll collaborate with distributed software teams, product owners, and business stakeholders to design scalable, resilient systems, participate in service-layer architecture, and own the full development-to-deployment cycle. The role emphasizes strong backend engineering, API design, automated testing/CI/CD, and debugging production issues for always-on, high-impact services.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead development work across globally distributed software teams and coordinate delivery with stakeholders and management.
•Drive scalable service-layer architecture improvements and lead architectural decision-making across the abuse and fraud prevention portfolio.
•Own the full development and deployment cycle, including spike/prototype work, writing high-quality code, and ensuring performance and resilience.
•Automate testing, deployments, performance, and recovery; debug and triage production application issues as needed.
•Encourage and grow developers in their craft while organizing priorities and balancing short- and mid-term strategies for product evolution.

Key Requirements

•Demonstrable lead engineering and development experience.
•Experience with Agile methodologies and strong communication across different audiences.
•Strong backend development skills with the ability to design and implement clean, scalable, well-structured APIs.
•Java 17+ experience (or other JVM languages) and experience with modern frameworks such as Springboot.
•Experience with AWS or other cloud providers and CI/CD practices, including tools like GitLab/Jenkins; Docker and Kubernetes (or similar) preferred.
