Key Responsibilities

•Coordinate with the Transmission Operations Supervisor and dispatchers to operate equipment under Transmission Operations control.
•Review transmission switching and switching techniques for EHV switching, protecting system load and generation, and allocation of switching duties among dispatchers.
•Confirm next-day transmission outages, arrange switching personnel, and ensure WPA setup.
•Coordinate with ERRIS, NERC, SERC, and MISO regarding reliability and coordination.
•Schedule short-term outages and determine restoration procedures to meet system capacity and efficiency needs.

Salary: 71,100 - 172,200

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited college or university (Electrical Engineering preferred)
•Relevant engineering experience in power transmission, generation, and/or distribution systems preferred

•Must pass NERC Cyber Security Background Check
•Strong oral and written communication skills, ability to manage conflicting priorities and work in a team-oriented environment
