Key Responsibilities

  • •Mentor engineers on DO-178C compliance mindset, real-time embedded design principles, and high-quality coding/verification/documentation practices.
  • •Own and drive DO-178C compliance across the full software life cycle, guiding teams on DAL objectives and compliance strategies.
  • •Act as key technical interface during certification audits and authority interactions, identifying certification risks early and driving mitigation plans.
  • •Provide architectural and hands-on guidance for Embedded Linux applications with real-time constraints, including design and implementation reviews for safety and real-time correctness.
  • •Lead verification and validation strategy and execution, ensuring requirements-based testing, structural coverage (Statement, Decision, MC/DC), verification independence, and support tool qualification and verification automation.

Key Requirements

  • •15+ years of experience in avionics or safety-critical embedded software development.
  • •Strong hands-on experience with DO-178C (preferably DAL A or DAL B) and certification audit/authority interactions.
  • •Proficiency in requirements-based development with traceability and lifecycle compliance, including certification supplements such as DO-330.
  • •Strong real-time embedded application experience, including bare-metal programming and Embedded Linux or an RTOS.
  • •Experience leading teams through mentoring/coaching and defining technical standards, review mechanisms, and skill-development plans.
