Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver the independent global QA Programme for Testing by embedding QA across testing teams and driving consistent global quality standards.
  • •Evolve QA methodology by defining/refining sampling, coverage, cadence, evaluation techniques, and QA outputs, including pass/fail criteria.
  • •Execute continuous monitoring QA (track key indicators, SLA performance, and management information) and perform cold QA via post-review sampling and hot QA via in-flight assessments.
  • •Conduct thematic QA deep-dives to diagnose strengths and weaknesses at scale across reviews/teams (e.g., test scripts, sampling quality).
  • •Identify systemic themes, coordinate RCA and corrective actions for recurring issues through to closure, and provide timely written/verbal QA feedback and reporting to leadership and teams.

Key Requirements

  • •10–15 years overall experience with 5+ years in key independent reviewer/tester roles such as internal audit, assurance, or 1LoD controls testing.
  • •Strong knowledge of controls concepts including risk & control frameworks, control testing methodologies, and design vs operating effectiveness.
  • •Hands-on experience designing and running independent evaluations covering scoping/sampling, cadence, coverage, pass/fail criteria, escalation thresholds, and findings communication.
  • •SME understanding of risk domains (e.g., Financial Crime, Regulatory Compliance, Operational Risk, Resilience, Technology/Cyber, Financial Reporting, Treasury Risk, Market Risk, Credit Risk) with familiarity with related regulations.
  • •Bachelor’s degree (master’s preferred) or equivalent experience; proficient in Microsoft Office and fluent in written and spoken English.
