Job Summary

Supervise day-of-show venue operations at Cobb’s Comedy by working with the Ops Manager and Security Supervisor. Serve as the escalation point for guest and staff concerns related to amenities, VIP experiences, seat upgrades, and security/customer service. Lead opening/running/closing and pre-shift meetings, maintain line-of-sight and back-of-house security, and complete incident reporting for special events.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform day-of-show duties with the Ops Manager and Security Supervisor, including opening/running/closing per policy.
•Respond to elevated staff/guest inquiries and concerns across security, customer service, amenities, VIP program, and seat upgrades.
•Maintain line of sight/atmosphere control by circulating through the work area and reporting issues; ensure security of back-of-house areas.
•Lead pre-shift meetings, create pre-shift sheets, and communicate updates and issues to the M.O.D. and management as needed.
•Complete incident reports, collect witness statements, manage ejection logs as needed, and turn in lost and found articles to Box Office.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 20 - 25 hourly

Key Requirements

•Responsible Alcohol Awareness Training Certification (or equivalent) and knowledge of responsible alcohol service.
•Working knowledge of high-volume nightclub operations and guest relations.
•Skills in guest relations/staff relations, including assessing and anticipating special needs of guests.
•Strong prioritization and effective communication skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks/issues with an upbeat attitude.
•Special requirements: Philadelphia Guard Card (or equivalent) and a High School Diploma required.
