Key Responsibilities

  • •Improve the accuracy of fault duplication and isolation for customer issues.
  • •Provide directions and techniques for customer problems and conduct defect detection/containment analysis.
  • •Engage design engineering and communicate findings/resolutions for HW and SW field issues.
  • •Coordinate failure analysis case review meetings across Cisco teams, suppliers, and stakeholders.
  • •Collaborate with PQE/CEs to drive corrective/preventive action and enhance test strategies for field returns.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in electrical or computer engineering with 7+ years of related experience.
  • •Experience with high-speed network interfaces and hands-on board design expertise.
  • •Familiarity with board design tools such as Cadence Allegro (or similar).
  • •Hardware design, schematics generation, and design validation for service provide routing products.
  • •Experience with sophisticated high-speed board design and board bring-up, with knowledge of Cisco products.
