Job Summary

Perform industrial maintenance to keep molding and plant equipment in top working order, ensuring only quality product is released. Troubleshoot and repair electronic, electromechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and optic systems; diagnose issues using programmable controller and schematic information; complete PMs, lubrication, cleaning, and equipment modifications/rebuilds. Maintain clean work areas, document work accurately, and follow safety programs including lockout/tagout.

•Exemplify Amcor behaviors and values while performing maintenance work professionally inside and outside the plant.
•Troubleshoot, remove, and replace electronic, electromechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and optic system components to keep equipment running properly.
•Diagnose problems using programmable controller information, schematic diagrams, and equipment manuals; document all work performed.
•Perform PMs including cleaning and lubrication on molding machines and equipment; modify, repair, and rebuild plant machinery and equipment.
•Maintain safe operations by following lockout/tagout and electrical safety/hazard communication procedures; operate a forklift safely when required.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent, plus 2+ years of industrial maintenance in manufacturing or technical school and/or an associate degree.
•Strong PLC programming skills and ability to read, interpret, and troubleshoot programmable controller information.
•Ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams, equipment manuals, and work orders for maintenance and service.
•Experience troubleshooting and maintaining electronic, electromechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and motor control systems.
•Ability to safely perform lockout/tagout procedures and follow electrical safety and hazard communication requirements.
