Key Responsibilities

•Own boards from concept through field deployment and ensure they are ready for manufacturing
•Collaborate with software and manufacturing teams to coordinate across boundaries and avoid gaps
•Review designs and push back when improvements are needed, transitioning from rapid prototyping to structured product development
•Draft and follow test plans and design review artifacts to maintain high-quality hardware releases
•Contribute to product lifecycle management and documentation to support production and field deployment

Key Requirements

•2+ years of experience building physical hardware (e.g., Raspberry Pi, ESP32, custom PCBs)
•PCB Design: schematic capture to layout (Altium experience preferred)
•End-to-end PCB ownership including associated firmware/software
•Hardware debugging fluency (oscilloscope, logic analyzer, power analyzer) in real-world conditions
•Experience designing for reliability (thermal management, power integrity, signal integrity) and knowledge of protocols (SPI, I2C, UART, Ethernet, CAN)
•Documentation discipline: test plans, manufacturing procedures, design review artifacts
