Key Responsibilities

•Manage presales opportunities and implementation of complex projects from scope definition through final close.
•Work closely with the sales team to deliver customer-driven end-to-end solutions for first responder, government, utility, transportation, and enterprise customers.
•Define directions and requirements to ensure timely implementation and quality of technical solutions.
•Provide engineering services for customers, including commissioning and testing Motorola equipment and presenting systems to internal/external customers.
•Prepare system bids based on customer needs and available equipment, coordinating modifications with product groups and collaborating with internal/external developers to meet delivery deadlines.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of sales, sales engineering, and public safety experience, or 8+ years of sales, sales engineering, and public safety experience.
•Highly preferred Land Mobile Radio (LMR) experience.
•Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present complex topics to technical and non-technical audiences.
•Strong general knowledge of wireless communications fundamentals and voice/data architectures (e.g., APCO P25, LTE, 802.11, 3G/4G).
•Strong general knowledge of IP networking architecture, protocols, and security, and the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
