Job Summary

Support NSW-based sustainability and climate change projects for a major engineering consultancy. You will contribute to project planning, budgeting, and client/vendor liaison, applying sustainability/ESD principles to decarbonize infrastructure and buildings while collaborating with engineers, architects, and environmental scientists on iconic projects and strategic bids.

Key Responsibilities

•Work on iconic buildings & infrastructure projects
•Handle deliverables for medium scale projects or parts of larger projects
•Contributing to project planning, project management, budgeting and controls
•Liaising with clients and suppliers to develop project briefings and sourcing information
•Applying a deep understanding of sustainability/ESD principles to solve complex problems, particularly on decarbonization of infrastructure assets

Key Requirements

•Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent sustainability related discipline
•Minimum 4+ years industry experience as a Sustainability Consultant or similar role, preferably with building or infrastructure design and delivery experience
•Demonstrated experience in project leadership on small and medium scale sustainability focussed projects
•Experience with best practice certification schemes (Green Star, NABERS, NatHERS, BASIX, ISC IS ratings)
•Exposure across energy, water and waste modelling; climate resilience and life-cycle analysis
