Key Responsibilities

  • •Build tracking infrastructure for product analytics, experimentation, and feature gates using schemas enforced at the source.
  • •Develop data processing infrastructure including Bronze→Silver→Gold pipelines in Databricks, with automated schema evolution, contract tests, backfills, and freshness/volume monitoring.
  • •Create ML infrastructure for feature computation and serving, training/evaluation pipelines, and integrating model outputs into the product with testing and observability.
  • •Implement self-service capabilities across the platform: templates, local dev and preview environments, policy-as-code for PHI, alert ownership routing, and progressive gates.
  • •Cross-cut improvements that make the safe path fast for engineers and agents without compromising validity or stability of changes.

Key Requirements

  • •Built internal platforms or infrastructure that other engineers actually adopted.
  • •Operated production data or ML systems, including being on call and fixing issues under pressure.
  • •Strong Python and SQL; comfortable working in a lakehouse environment (Databricks; Snowflake or BigQuery acceptable).
  • •Designed data interfaces and schemas other teams depend on, and evolved them without breaking downstream teams.
  • •Thought deeply about testing and CI for data/ML where correctness is statistical and failures can be silent; 1-4 years of engineering experience preferred.
