Job Summary

Ensure end-to-end integrity of risk and valuation data by executing enhanced controls for data used by Traded Risk, Finance, and Collateral. Implement and operate the VAULT centralized control system aligned to Basel BCBS 239, publish and analyze daily control reports across asset classes, and act as product owner in scrum with Quants, IT, Finance, and Risk. Liaise with feed providers and guide/coach the team while onboarding new risk measures for FRTB reporting.

Key Responsibilities

•Execute enhanced controls to ensure the integrity of risk and valuation data consumed by multiple teams.
•Implement centralized control via the VAULT system in line with Basel BCBS 239 principles.
•Publish and analyze daily control reports across asset classes to assess materiality of risk impact.
•Act as product owner for VAULT in scrum, collaborating with Quants, IT, Finance, and Risk to define control requirements.
•Provide oversight of the direct reporting line, coaching/mentoring staff, and proactively assist with production issues raised by analysts.

Key Requirements

•Degree/qualification in finance, accountancy, business management, quantitative studies, or relevant experience in risk management or product control.
•Good understanding of financial products, risk management principles, and market risk measures such as PVBP and VaR.
•Ability to process, analyze, and interpret market risk reports and produce risk-related information.
•High proficiency in Excel (VBA an advantage), plus Word and PowerPoint; average proficiency in MS Access.
•Experience aligning controls and reporting with risk/valuation requirements (including Basel BCBS 239 and FRTB).
