Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate the vehicle according to applicable state and federal transportation laws.
  • •Transport loads safely and timely on required routes while obeying traffic laws and safety regulations.
  • •Maneuver truck and trailer into loading and unloading areas; follow loading crew signals.
  • •Load/unload equipment and materials using specialized equipment when warranted; assist with loading crew needs.
  • •Maintain required paperwork (invoices and shipping documents), facilitate routine truck service, and report maintenance malfunctions.

Key Requirements

  • •Hold a Commercial Driver’s License (Class A CDL) or the required chauffeur’s license for the vehicle weight.
  • •Pass background and drug testing, and be able to pass a DOT physical.
  • •Be at least 21 years old to operate company vehicle.
  • •Ability to remain focused in a busy environment and speak professionally with customers and staff.
  • •Physically able to sit for long periods and lift/move up to 40 pounds; CDL drivers may be required to be clean shaven for customer deliveries.
