Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, implement, and maintain storage infrastructure across performance, capacity, archive, backup/recovery, and disaster recovery tiers.
  • •Architect and operate low-latency, high-throughput storage supporting mission-critical workloads and exabyte-scale file systems (e.g., VAST).
  • •Administer storage systems including NetApp, Pure FlashArray/FlashBlade, Vast, and HPE Alletra.
  • •Monitor and troubleshoot storage performance end-to-end across hardware, RDMA transport, and protocol layers; resolve complex protocol/OS interactions.
  • •Develop automation for monitoring, capacity utilization and planning, configuration management, and alerting; define storage standards and collaborate with compute/network/application teams.

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years of professional IT storage engineering experience (or 5+ years in lieu of a degree) with a STEM background.
  • •Hands-on experience with enterprise storage platforms including NetApp, Pure Storage, Vast, and HPE Alletra.
  • •Strong understanding of storage protocols including NFS, CIFS/SMB, iSCSI, and NVMe over TCP.
  • •Ability to monitor and troubleshoot storage performance across hardware, RDMA transport, and protocol layers.
  • •Experience administering storage access, data permissions, and access controls across multiple protocols and operating systems.
