Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide independent review and governance for ALM assumptions and models used across pricing, planning, portfolio management, valuation, and risk reporting, including documentation and change governance.
  • •Oversee entity and portfolio ALM and asset allocation, evaluating duration, cash flow mismatches, liquidity convexity, basis risk, and implications for reserves, capital, earnings, liquidity, and risk appetite.
  • •Partner with Apollo and cross-functional leaders to shape strategic ALM initiatives, hedging strategies, strategic asset allocation, and capital markets assumptions.
  • •Assess assignments across strategic asset allocation, pricing, portfolio mandates, and entity-level ALM objectives with U.S. and Bermuda regulatory, reserving, and capital implications, identifying emerging risks and trade-offs.
  • •Advance ALM analytics and decision support by establishing authoritative reporting sources, reconciling results across systems, resolving inconsistencies, and applying automation/AI tools with strong validation and controls.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 184,478.4 - 276,717.6 annually

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of experience in ALM, investment management, insurance risk management, fixed-income portfolio management, derivatives, actuarial modeling, or capital management.
  • •4+ years of leadership experience, including driving complex cross-functional initiatives and influencing senior stakeholders without direct authority.
  • •Expertise in ALM principles, fixed income assets, insurance liabilities, derivatives, financial modeling, cash flow analysis, and key-rate risk, with familiarity with U.S. and Bermuda frameworks.
  • •Advanced Excel skills, with experience using Python, SQL, and data visualization/analytical tools preferred.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, mathematics, actuarial science, or related field; MBA, CFA, FRM, FSA, or similar professional designation preferred.
