Job Summary

Operate a DOT-compliant distributor and service truck while following all company safety procedures, OSHA/MSHA requirements, and dispatch instructions. Perform daily pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate documentation, monitor gauges during operation, and load/unload materials as needed. Provide quality assurance to the best of your ability, perform minor servicing and maintenance, and assist with general labor for a paving crew when required, including training less-experienced employees.

Key Responsibilities

•Follow company policies and procedures for safe working procedures and environment.
•Perform daily pre/post trip inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with DOT guidelines.
•Load and unload equipment or materials, monitor gauges during vehicle operation, and assure product quality.
•Perform minor servicing and maintenance of equipment; refer major problems to the Foreman.
•Maintain a clean and orderly truck, operate with safe backing/communication practices, and assist with general labor duties with a paving crew when necessary.

Key Requirements

•Pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
•Pass a pre-employment “Fit for Work” physical.
•Provide valid documentation for the I-9 Immigration document.
•Maintain a current driver’s license/CDL (Class A and/or B) and have HazMat/Tanker endorsement for the distributor position.
•Be able to travel and work away from home when required, including nights and weekends as necessary.
