Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Create, assign, and monitor work orders; track machine service intervals; and order parts.
  • •Diagnose equipment failures quickly by using data from many makes and models to determine root cause and corrective actions.
  • •Perform preventive maintenance and repairs of power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment, and/or oil-free air compressors.
  • •Troubleshoot failures in the shop and at customer locations, and handle repairs while maintaining required paperwork and documentation.
  • •Set up and operate equipment, assist with pick-up/delivery of equipment and parts, and help train lower level technicians as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Own applicable tools for the role and have advanced mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of tools.
  • •Experience inspecting, maintaining, and repairing power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment.
  • •Ability to calculate nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements and read/understand schematics.
  • •Strong customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills.
  • •High school diploma; trade school certificate preferred, with experience in equipment service, maintenance, and repair preferred.
