Location: Paris
Workplace: Onsite
Employment Type: Full time
Job Function: Hardware, Embedded & Systems Engineering
Seniority: Mid level

Key Responsibilities

  • •Design complete schematics for mixed-signal and power boards, covering power stages through digital and communication sections.
  • •Perform or lead PCB placement and routing with focus on signal integrity, EMC, and power-path constraints.
  • •Define and validate the power and thermal architecture, including battery temperature management.
  • •Lead hardware bring-up and debug using oscilloscopes and power bench equipment; write bring-up scripts when needed.
  • •Support production readiness by qualifying manufacturers, driving DFM/DFA and BOM optimization, and maintaining documentation and test procedures.

Key Requirements

  • •Designed and shipped complex PCBs, including mixed digital and significant power (~hundreds of watts) into production.
  • •Strong experience with PCB schematic and layout work (Altium Designer preferred), with rigorous attention to bring-up readiness.
  • •Power electronics expertise across DC/DC conversion (~300W), protection, derating, and thermal budgets.
  • •Experience with mixed-signal interfaces and communication buses (SPI, I2C, UART, USB, CAN, Ethernet), including PoE (IEEE 802.3af/at/bt).
  • •Ability to execute hardware bring-up and debug using bench equipment, with DFM/DFA and component/BOM management.
