Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide technical guidance and direction to hardware engineers to resolve complex HW bring-up and cross-functional problems.
  • •Oversee HW schematic entry, layout supervision, board bring-up, and cross-functional system debug.
  • •Translate high-level product direction into actionable, executable system design steps for cross-functional teams.
  • •Drive hardware vendor roadmaps for key components (ASICs, connectors, PCB vendors) and align with internal product roadmaps.
  • •Mentor and manage a team of hardware engineers, communicate project status, and implement new processes/tools to improve HW team productivity and efficiency.

Key Requirements

  • •BS or MS in Electrical Engineering.
  • •10+ years of relevant experience in networking hardware design.
  • •Proven experience leading hardware engineering teams across multiple simultaneous projects.
  • •Proficiency with high layer count printed circuit boards and high-speed design, with knowledge of Ethernet and protocols including SMBus, SPI, PCIe, PoE, WiFi, PTP, and MDIO.
  • •Expertise in designing for manufacturability (DFM) and collaborating with contract manufacturers (CM/ODM/JDM) to take products from concept through production.
