Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform NDT services in accordance with approved data, Jetstar Part 145 MOE, and Jetstar NDT Written Practice to support aircraft maintenance.
  • •Report NDT descriptions and results to LAME/Supervisor so repairs can be carried out.
  • •Communicate any significant aircraft AOG to LAME/Supervisor.
  • •Assist in ensuring NDT tooling and equipment are checked and maintained to specified requirements.
  • •Ensure an up-to-date company Certification Authorisation is held and maintain required skills currency.

Key Requirements

  • •Hold a Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Mechanical).
  • •Be qualified to perform NDT Level 2 Aerospace techniques including Eddy Current, Ultrasonic, Magnetic Particle, and Penetrant testing.
  • •Ensure accuracy and error-free reporting for NDT descriptions and results.
  • •Demonstrate the ability to act decisively under pressure and communicate outcomes and actions to stakeholders.
  • •Meet skills and currency requirements for AS3669, EN4179, NAS410 and Jetstar Part 145 MOE actions.
