Key Responsibilities

  • •Participate in hands-on training and perform duties across the distribution center in Operations, Management, and Purchasing.
  • •Observe experienced employees to learn methods, procedures, and performance standards.
  • •Shadow contractors/builders, service/maintenance, and retail store customers to learn aspects of the swimming pool, irrigation, and landscaping business.
  • •Complete classroom training covering operations, financials, leadership, human capital management, and operating systems.
  • •Give a comprehensive presentation to senior-level management at the end of the 6-month program; perform other assigned duties and projects.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree or Associate’s degree in Industrial Distribution, Supply Chain Management, Management, Operations, or a related discipline with a minimum of a 2.5 GPA.
  • •Work experience in a leadership and/or problem-solving role; alternatively, experience via distribution or supply chain internships, organizations/clubs, volunteer work, athletics, or military leadership.
  • •Desire and ability to work in a distribution warehouse environment.
  • •Results-driven, self-starter mindset with the ability to lead and develop a team with rapidly changing priorities.
  • •Willingness and ability to relocate during and after the program for career development opportunities.
