Key Responsibilities

•Follow assembly drawings and/or specifications to prepare parts and build subassemblies, modules and accessories for new gas turbine engines
•Assist with engine test operations and component/ accessory tests under supervision
•Use overhaul and repair procedures to perform mechanical work and verify dimensional tolerances
•Obtain parts, check details for conformance, and measure components to ensure they meet assembly requirements
•Utilize hand tools and fixtures to assemble engine sections and maintain equipment and tooling for assigned areas

Key Requirements

•Must be eligible to participate in DoW SkillBridge
•High School Diploma or Equivalent
•Military Aviation Powerplant, Airframes, or Avionics Technical Training
