Key Responsibilities

  • •Define the architecture, standards, and strategic direction for Webex Contact Center’s data, analytics, and reporting platform.
  • •Design, develop, and operate AI-ready data platform components that enable next-generation intelligent experiences.
  • •Build scalable data pipelines, feature engineering frameworks, and data services to train, deploy, and continuously improve custom AI/ML models.
  • •Develop streaming and batch processing systems and optimize latency/throughput, reliability, and operational efficiency across the data platform.
  • •Mentor engineers and drive engineering excellence through clean architecture, automation, observability, testing, and knowledge sharing.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or related technical field.
  • •8+ years of experience building distributed cloud-native SaaS applications.
  • •Strong software engineering expertise in Java and/or Python for production-grade backend services.
  • •Hands-on experience building modern data platforms with Kafka, Flink, Spark, Iceberg, Pinot, ClickHouse, or equivalent streaming/analytical systems.
  • •Experience with modern AI/ML architectures and productionizing models, including feature engineering, embeddings/vector search, RAG, inference pipelines, and model serving frameworks.
