Key Responsibilities

  • •Work with Pricing Managers on the ongoing management of the book of Pension Risk Transfer transactions.
  • •Lead the production of cash flow and pricing models for PRTs, ensuring robust controls and processes.
  • •Work with stakeholders to execute data cleanses, including GMP equalisation implementation and transition to buyout.
  • •Navigate complexities and non-standard requests, driving thinking on solutions.
  • •Develop, coach and train junior team members, and lead project management to meet contractual requirements and timescales.

Key Requirements

  • •Be a qualified Actuary or near qualified Actuary.
  • •Practical experience in actuarial cash flow modelling, including bespoke projects and setting assumptions.
  • •Excellent technical knowledge of defined benefit pensions, including GMP benefits, franking and deferred member benefit calculations.
  • •Ideally experience with financial services regulatory environment, including Solvency II and the Matching Adjustment, plus bulk annuity modelling and pricing.
  • •Strong problem-solving, communication and analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
