Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare patients for examinations, treatments, and procedures.
  • •Obtain and document vital signs, chief complaints, medical histories, and other relevant information.
  • •Assist healthcare providers during examinations, treatments, and office-based procedures.
  • •Collect, process, and test specimens according to established protocols and provide specimen-collection instructions to patients.
  • •Administer delegated clinical tasks (including medications, immunizations, and injections as applicable) and document care accurately in the electronic health record while following HIPAA and patient safety standards.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 17 - 25 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED and graduation from an approved Medical Assistant training program.
  • •Meet applicable Medical Assistant credentialing requirements and applicable Arizona licensure, certification, and credentialing requirements.
  • •BLS certification, or ability to obtain it within 5 days of starting.
  • •Arizona Level I Fingerprint Clearance Card, or ability to obtain it within 5 days of starting.
  • •Must be authorized to work in the United States and complete required pre-employment and continued employment screenings.
