Key Responsibilities

  • •Execute mechanical design and development of life-saving medical devices, including implementation, debug, and test support in a regulated environment.
  • •Apply engineering rigor to ensure product robustness, reliability, and patient safety.
  • •Design injection molded plastic parts and electro-mechanical assemblies/mechanisms; conduct tolerance analysis.
  • •Create 2D engineering drawings per ASME Y14.5 standards and generate/process Engineering Change Orders.
  • •Support engineering Verification/Validation, design reviews, and mechanical sustaining activities including product failure investigations and root cause analysis (RCA).
Travel: Low travel

Salary: USD 70,000 - 80,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •0-3 years of Mechanical Engineering experience required.
  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related) strongly preferred.
  • •In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, an Associate Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology (or related) with significant industry experience (10+ years) will be considered.
  • •Proficient using PLM/PDM (Windchill preferred) and SolidWorks and/or Creo.
  • •Fundamental understanding and experience applying Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
