Key Responsibilities

•Monitor and track active bankruptcy filings (Chapter 7, 11, 12, 13) and maintain accurate bankruptcy statuses, plan types, and court dates in the servicing system.
•Review daily ECF and PACER updates to identify new filings or case changes and update records accordingly.
•Prepare and submit proofs of claim and related notices, and process reaffirmation agreements, trustee disbursements, and payment suspensions or reinstatements per court directives.
•Coordinate compliance actions and documentation with legal counsel, including filings, motions for relief, objections, and claims, while supporting audits and investor requests.
•Partner with internal teams (collections, loss mitigation, default services) and communicate with escrow, insurance, and investor reporting teams to ensure appropriate treatment and timely lifecycle outcomes.

Key Requirements

•Minimum 3–5 years of experience in bankruptcy servicing, default administration, or legal processing within consumer lending or mortgage/chattel servicing.
•Strong working knowledge of Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 processes, including plan confirmation, payment handling, and discharge procedures.
•Experience with servicing systems (e.g., FICS, MSP or equivalent) and court filing systems (PACER/ECF).
•Excellent organizational, analytical, and written communication skills.
•Ability to interpret and apply investor, regulatory, and legal requirements consistently.
