Key Responsibilities

  • •Support the monthly revenue close with revenue-related journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
  • •Conduct ASC 606 contract reviews and document revenue recognition conclusions for new and existing arrangements.
  • •Evaluate complex contract terms (usage-based pricing, committed spend, minimum commitments, credits/discounts, modifications, renewals) and maintain revenue schedules.
  • •Reconcile revenue recognition data to billing, usage, contract, and general ledger data, investigate discrepancies, and build auditable workpapers.
  • •Partner with cross-functional teams (Billing, Revenue Operations, Sales, Legal, Deal Desk, Systems) to align billing and accounting and improve internal controls, policies, and automation.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of relevant accounting experience with meaningful revenue recognition experience.
  • •Strong working knowledge of ASC 606 and experience evaluating customer contracts and revenue arrangements.
  • •Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • •CPA preferred and experience working with SaaS, technology, or usage/consumption-based business models.
  • •Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills; SQL or experience with data warehouses is a plus.
