Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead discovery, architectural design, and adoption of Xometry’s embedded partner integration for flagship ecosystem workflows.
  • •Extract and natively embed Xometry core AI engines (DFM and IQE) into partner digital ecosystems to enable real-time manufacturability and pricing feedback.
  • •Ensure AI fluency by leveraging AI tools for geometry-processing pipelines and collaborating with Data Science to meet sub-second IQE performance requirements.
  • •Own the reliability and security of integration microservices, including monitoring/alerting and bulletproof click-to-buy functionality for enterprise PLM transactions.
  • •Serve as the primary technical point of contact for partner engineering teams and mentor senior and mid-level engineers through complex design reviews.

Key Requirements

  • •8–12+ years of professional software development experience leading complex, multi-quarter initiatives.
  • •Deep expertise in Python (backend services/APIs), React/TypeScript (embedded UIs), and AWS cloud infrastructure.
  • •Strong system architecture experience, including microservices and distributed systems for high-volume data exchange across enterprise ecosystems.
  • •Proven track record building enterprise-grade integrations beyond simple API wrappers, with architectural patterns adopted across teams.
