Key Responsibilities

  • •Own all aspects of borrower/client retention for an assigned portfolio, retaining quality clients through financing options and service offerings and delivering an outstanding client experience.
  • •Independently monitor borrower quality, identify unfavorable deviations in underperforming borrowers, and exit or remediate with minimal losses.
  • •Collaborate with the Origination team prior to loan closing to support seamless transfer into Portfolio Management.
  • •Lead underwriting, approval, negotiation, and closing for additional funding requests or loan modifications; perform financial analysis and ensure accurate risk grading, collateral verification, protection, and due diligence.
  • •Provide guidance, mentoring, and training to junior team members; participate in interviewing and hiring; prepare and deliver performance evaluations, goal planning, and counseling; manage staff.

Key Requirements

  • •Demonstrate knowledge of and responsibility for compliance with state and federal regulations, including Regulation Z, Regulation B, Fair Housing Act, HMDA, RESPA, FCRA, BSA/USA PATRIOT Act, AML/CIP, RFPA, and CRA.
  • •3+ years of lending, credit, public accounting, or venture-backed finance experience.
  • •Proficiency with Word and Excel.
  • •High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree and/or relevant work experience or training.
