Key Responsibilities

  • •Effectively lend client securities in the Americas to optimize revenues globally within the agreed client mandate and risk framework.
  • •Maintain high customer service standards for securities lending transactions in line with compliance and governance requirements.
  • •Make decisions on individual loans for non-discretionary contracts and on discretionary contracts where full trading authority is held.
  • •Manage external stakeholder relationships with clients, counterparts, and third-party vendors, and coordinate internal stakeholders across Client Management, Product Management, Treasury Operations, and Business Development.
  • •Contribute to the development of new and enhanced SSv lending products and improve client retention and satisfaction through effective delivery and enhanced lending revenue.

Key Requirements

  • •Prior experience in securities lending or a related financing/markets role, with exposure to equity finance, fixed income financing, repo, collateral, or inventory-driven trading.
  • •Understanding of securities lending transactions, pricing, and market dynamics, balancing revenue opportunities with client constraints and operational considerations.
  • •Strong understanding of supply/demand dynamics, specials, utilization, collateral structures, and counterparty behavior.
  • •Knowledge of client profiles and investment strategies to optimize risk and return outcomes within client guidelines and portfolio constraints.
  • •Advanced Excel skills required; Bloomberg and relevant trading/financing/custody platform knowledge preferred; familiarity with VBA, Python, SQL, or automation tools is an advantage.
