Job Summary

Lead Cisco’s Failure Analysis efforts by working with EMS partners to duplicate, isolate, and determine root cause for customer-reported issues. Partner with cross-functional Product Leads, Technical Leads, and Customer Support to accelerate issue replication and communicate key technical findings to stakeholders. Drive corrective and preventive actions, support test strategy improvements for field returns, and use high-speed board and SERDES expertise to enhance diagnostic accuracy.

Job Function: Administration & Executive Assistance

Key Responsibilities

•Work with and drive EMS partners to deliver timely, accurate root-cause results by duplicating and isolating customer issues.
•Collaborate with a multi-functional team to accelerate replication of customer-reported issues.
•Articulate key technical issues to stakeholders, identify impact, and partner to drive resolution.
•Coordinate with PQE/CEs to drive corrective/preventive actions across design, manufacturing, process, and supplier issues.
•Participate in initiatives to enhance test strategies, methodologies, and diagnostic coverage for field returns to improve duplication and isolation accuracy.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in electrical or computer engineering with 13+ years of related experience.
•Experience with sophisticated high-speed board design and board bring-up.
•Hands-on expertise with high-speed network interfaces and board design tools such as Cadence Allegro (or similar).
•Experience designing high-speed SERDES (>=25G), including signal integrity issues and power distribution techniques.
•Knowledge of Cisco products; preferred: Master’s degree with 10+ years of related experience.
