Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead all aspects of blow molding tooling, process development, validation, and qualification across manufacturing operations.
  • •Manage tooling projects from concept and quoting through implementation, including vendor coordination, documentation, specifications, and procurement.
  • •Optimize molding processes to meet dimensional/visual/performance targets, maintain Master Process Sheets and POA documentation, and conduct process capability studies.
  • •Develop, maintain, and communicate engineering standards/specifications/best practices, acting as a liaison across Operations Engineering, plants, customers, and vendors.
  • •Train salaried and hourly personnel on machine processing, tooling systems, troubleshooting, and operational best practices; mentor teams and support technical collaboration networks.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Plastics Engineering, or related technical discipline (or equivalent education/experience).
  • •5 to 8 years of experience in plastics packaging manufacturing, process engineering, tooling engineering, or related field.
  • •Experience with Injection Stretch Blow Molding (ISBM) tooling and vendors.
  • •Experience with mold qualification, validation, process optimization, and troubleshooting.
  • •Experience with CAD/engineering drawings and familiarity with systems such as SAP, Windchill, Salesforce, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Excel.
